A Family and Business Update from Siberia Spirit
Warmest greetings from our Siberia Spirit family 💛
We wanted to share a little update on our small business and family, because last year brought growth in more ways than one! From expanding events to new wholesale partnerships, evolving our product line, and welcoming meaningful personal milestones, we wanted to share a look behind the scenes with the community that has supported us along the way.
Expanding Our Markets and Community

This past year, we expanded our in-person events beyond our usual stops in Oregon and Southern California and spent much more time in Washington. At the Seattle Christmas Market, we met customers from all over the country who had discovered our socks online and were thrilled to finally find us in person. It felt like a true full-circle moment and confirmed our hopes that Washington is a place where Siberia Spirit belongs.
You can expect to see us at many more events there in the future.
Looking ahead, we’re also beginning to explore other new territories. This year, we’re hoping to make our way into Canada, both through events and new storefront partnerships. If you know of a shop you think would be a wonderful fit for our products, , we always appreciate recommendations from our community.
Wholesale Growth Across the Country
One of the biggest shifts for our business came through a new wholesale partnership. We were discovered by Paige and Neil of the Noreaster Sales Group, a husband-and-wife sales rep team who connected deeply with the craftsmanship and quality of our wool socks.
As winter settled in, the number of wholesale orders they brought us continued to grow, more than in any previous year by far. Our small team was truly put to the test as their network introduced our socks into new storefronts across the East Coast. The days were long and the work often felt endless, but we were deeply grateful to finally experience the kind of growth we had always worked toward..
Today, our socks can be found in stores in states like Maine, Vermont, New York, and beyond.
Evolving Our Designs and Product Line
With so much change underway, it felt like the right time to evolve our line as well. We’re currently working on expanding the selection of designs for our:
-
Knee-high wool socks
-
Relaxed fit/ Non binding wool socks
-
Men’s wool socks
We’ll be sharing the new designs as they become available over the coming months. If you have suggestions for new designs or styles you would love to see, we genuinely enjoy hearing from customers. Many of our most popular products began with customer feedback.
Our goal is always the same. We want to create comfortable wool socks that feel supportive, gentle, and naturally warm without tight elastic or pressure.
Our Decision to Focus on Goat Hair
One of the most important decisions we made this year was to work exclusively with our crowd-favorite fiber moving forward: Altai Mountain goat hair.
Based on years of customer feedback, goat wool socks are consistently described as softer, warmer, and more comfortable than many traditional wool options. The fiber has a naturally fluffy texture that creates insulation without heaviness, making it ideal for cozy house socks, warm winter accessories, and socks for cold feet.
This material also holds deep personal meaning for us. Altai goat hair reflects the traditional roots from which our slipper sock designs originate, connecting our modern products to generations of textile knowledge and craftsmanship.
We have an exciting new project planned for late summer that builds on this direction. While we are not ready to share details yet, it is something we are incredibly proud of.
Personal News from Our Family

Our growth hasn’t been limited to the business alone. Elizabeth, our manager and customer care lead, was married on Christmas Eve and is now expecting a baby girl. Our family is overjoyed, as this will be the first child in our family in many years.
Elizabeth’s mother, and one of our co-founders, Linda, is especially excited to welcome a new baby girl into our growing circle of women. Linda faced a difficult recovery this year after breaking her hip, but she is steadily improving. After everything she has been through, looking ahead to this new addition has brought her so much joy and light, and she can’t wait to step into this next chapter as a grandmother.

Aleks, our CEO and the driving force behind Siberia Spirit, also made the decision to relocate to Seattle. While we miss her dearly, our team somehow feels closer than ever. She’s been enjoying the colder weather after years in San Diego and continues to dream up new ways to improve comfort and quality for our customers.
A Family Business Rooted in Comfort
Because Siberia Spirit has always been both a business and a family, there is very little separation between the two. Every pair of socks we create reflects not only natural fibers and craftsmanship, but also the relationships and stories behind them.
Whether someone discovers us at a holiday market, through a small boutique, or while searching for warm wool socks (Link best sellers) online, our goal remains the same. We want people to experience the comfort of natural materials in their everyday lives, from cold mornings at home to quiet evenings of rest.
Thank you for being part of our journey, for supporting small businesses, and for helping us grow our Siberia Spirit family.
With gratitude,
The Siberia Spirit Family
